What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load USB Loader GX
2.Have the USB Stick in the wii or insert when asked
3.Step back and cry until it works hopefully
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
USB Loader GX goes to the UI and the Flash Drive mounts properly. The screen freezes on both Waiting for USB HDD on insertion and when leaving it in there on Initializing USB HDD.
What revision of USB Loader GX are you using? 3.0
On what operating system (IOS/Firmware/System)?
IOS d2x in slot 249
Please provide any additional information below.
The USB Flash Drive is 4 GB. Filesystem is FAT32. Allocation Unit size is 4096.

I have the same issue with several USB Flash Drives, especially 32GB and 64GB models. What is the make/model/device number on your flash drive?
One that has worked well for me is this HP v165w 16GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-326-108 You can also format it NTFS to handle files 4GB+ and it will work fine. Interestingly the 32GB model of the v165W doesn't work consistently.
