Yes, to do this correctly, it would really have to be someone's job that can travel around and get people to test it and provide improvements. You see so much open-source collaboration to make all kinds of programs, though. I don't see why we can't do something like that from within the Army. I guess I'm a dreamer. :) v/r John W. This kind of effort is institutionally difficult in the Army. You need commitment from folks at the company and battalion level who will be using the system. These are the same people who have the least time and skill to devote to development. It's even difficult to get started without a commander telling someone to do it.
