This one deserves an reply ;) First off, i recommend you to get Unreal3.1, downloadable from http://unreal.tspre.org When you get the tar.gz unpacked, (tar -zxf filename), simply type in ./Setup and it will start guiding you through all steps (muuuch easier than 3.0 :P) Else, just ask questions here --Stskeeps P.S. geek code gives faster reply ;) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Carsten V. Hi, I'm trying to connect three ircd servers (hubs). Is this possible? I have only been able to connect two Hubs so far. When the third one wants to connect the other two disconnects with "Too many servers" error. Does one have to be a Hub and the others leaves? Thanks in advance, Jay Song. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com |

When will the 3.1 be ported to windows? There is one thing I dont like with the UnrealIRCd/32 v3.0-Morrigan(fix) And that is that I think the IRCOP have to much power! I dont like that the IRCOPer can give himself mode #chan +o any time Is there a way to turn this off? Every global OP can do this. Not only the admin i think?! Please help me! Hi, I downloaded the ircd, but I'm not very familiar with how the configuration works. Is there a FAQ or doc on setting it up? I would like to disable the socks checking for starters.. I have socks proxy and it automatically kills my connection then. Thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo! I think that it would be nice if you guys included a language filter in = your next Unreal IRCd release. I'm trying to run a clean server (no = profanity, sex, etc.) and it would be very benificial if a language = filter was included. Also, there was a DALnet wIRCd that I saw with a "hush" option that = would prohibit a user from performing most IRC commands for an amount of = time, or until he/she logged off. This included the /msg, /join, /part, = /nick, /notice, /onotice, etc. I would REALLY like to see this in the = next Unreal server.=20 Thanks, Ryan Foster |
