As mentioned in the subject: UFRAW always crashes during an attempt to open CR2 or NEF files (created using Canon EOS 30D and Nikon D90). Slackware 14.1 (32-bit), kernel 4.0, UFRAW 0.22, GIMP 2.8.14. Hardware: old mobo fitted with AMD Athlon XP 2600+
No problem with CRW files created using Canon EOS 300D.
P.S. Just came to idea to make a comparison using my much more modern mobo (fitted with i7 CPU), also with Slackware 14.1, but 64-bit (GIMP 2.8.6.there). No such problem.
Are the crashes related to (much older) processor - or 32-bit OS?
I have Ubuntu 14.04.4 x64. Ufraw crashes with a segementation fault. Ubuntu uses Ufraw 0.19.2, so I tried to install Ufraw 0.22 from Pascal de Bruijn's PPA Ufraw Testing. The program installed ok, but I get the same crash. Is anyone working on Ufraw since darktable seems to be the preferred raw processor in Linux now?
