#401 UFRAW (from CVS) does not pass EXIF data to gimp-2.9.1

The gimp-ufraw plugin transfers the image to gimp-2.9.1, but the exif data is missing and gimp reports

"Calling error for procedure 'plug-in-metadata-decode-exif':
Procedure 'plug-in-metadata-decode-exif' not found"

Indeed! plug-in-metadata-decode-exif does not exist in gimp-2.9.1

Looks like the 2.9+ series has a new EXIF handling system -- I don't understand the details and certainly not the implications for ufraw.
