#2 Better formatting language

It would be nice to have POD supported for editing web-
pages, instead of custom rules.

More generally, it would be great to separate
formatting cleanly so that one could have plugins,
allowing for alternate syntaxes to be used.

The current default syntax is quite... heavy, and not
fairly intuitive. In particular, I expected the
following to format lists correctly:

* First item
+ Second item
* Second item

but it does not work. One MUST put 3, 6, 9 spaces.

The ideal solution would be to have formatting
intuited by reverse engineering the structure of the
prose.

Interesting idea about POD - you can of course write your
own plugin, which could implement such formatting rules.

suggestion.
