Really? It sends our kids into fits of giggles whenever they hear it.
It's very much like the voices of the characters of their favourite TV
claymation show, "Morph Files". I have no worries that our kids are
going to feel taunted, nor that they will start modelling their speech
after these sound effects.

It would be a shame if we eliminated these sounds entirely, though I
understand a classroom environment is quite different from our family
room, so I concede the point that as a default, they are unsuitable.

I like the car motor idea. Could we support this as part of a sound
theme, so that the favourite alternate sounds can be preserved?
