Hi Leialoha!  You can use any tool that understands both PNG and JPEG
formats (practically any graphcis tool, these days) if you really wanted
to convert the images.  For printed books, though, I'd stick to using the
original PNG file, since JPEGs introduce some 'artifacts' that can make
pictures look bad.  Especially if you take something like a picture drawn
in Tux Paint and try to increase its size for printing at 300dpi or more,
at a reasonable physical size on the page.

In any case, you can find Tux Paint's saved pictures on your hard drive,
in PNG format, fairly easily.  This page explains where, for Linux, Windows
and Mac OS X, assuming you haven't reconfigured Tux Paint to save them
elsewhere.  (In which case, you should already _know_ where they are! ;^) )
