'Starters' are assumed to have at least some transparent parts, which is how they work as coloring book pictures, for example. This page explains briefly where saved pictures go: http://www.tuxpaint.org/gallery/submit/ Of course, she'll want to save it as a new picture after drawing on it, otherwise you'll have to make another PNG if she wants to start fresh. In the future, I'm planning on adding 'Templates,' as well as 'Starters.'
