[Tuxpaint-users] Problems starting tuxpaint?

Hi all,

Tuxpaint just quits after displaying the splash screen on my Windows 2000 machine. 

The strange thing is that if I uninstall Tuxpaint and the stamps, and then reinstall Tuxpaint and the stamps, that tuxpaint will work again. However, once I reboot the machine, Tuxpaint will no longer start until I reinstall Tuxpaint and its stamps.

I've tried purging the lockfile, but it did not help.

I couldn't find a reference to this problem in the bug tracker or elsewhere on the web.  Has anyone seen this problem or have suggestions on how to debug this?
