Hi Lieven! The easiest way is to create a text file (in UTF-8 format for non-Latin characters, such as Chinese, Hebrew and Japanese). The text file should simply have the same name as the PNG stamp image file, except with ".txt" as the file extension, instead of ".png". :^) The first line should be the English description. For translations of the description, add additional lines to the file that begin with "xx.utf8=", where "xx" is the locale code for the language (e.g., "jp" for Japanese, "zh" for Chinese, "de" for German). For example: A sumatran tiger. fr.utf8=Un tigre de Sumatra. You can see some example files in Tux Paint's current set of stamps. You can access them via the web interface to the CVS repository, for example: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/tuxpaint/tuxpaint-stamps/ I hope that helps! Please let me know when you've released your stamps (if you release them publically), as I'd be more than happy to link to them! (If you'd like to add anything to the main Tux Paint stamps collection, please let us know, too!) -- -bill! bi...@ne... http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/ |
