Hi Ouychai, thanks for offering to help. Our "tuxpaint-i18n" or "tuxpaint-devel" mailing lists might be more appropriate places to discuss this. (See http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/tuxpaint/lists/ ) To answer briefly, though: (1) Download the source code from: http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/tuxpaint/download/source/ It might be best to download the latest development copy out of the "CVS" repository at SourceForge, rather than use the latest offical release (0.9.14, which is now about 8 months old!) There is information at the page listed above on how to do that. (2) Be sure you have all of the required helper libraries installed. They should all be available as packages for Fedora Core. http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/tuxpaint/requirements/ (3) Simply use the "make" command to compile Tux Paint, and then "make install" (as root, or via the "sudo" command) to install it! If you need help, feel free to post a note to "tuxpaint-devel" or send me a message directly. (I'd like to keep this list, "tuxpaint-users", as non-technical and non-developer-oriented as possible... a place for teachers and parents to come and discuss Tux Paint and how they use it at school and home.)
