And they can run on some Macintosh computers released in 2007 so we're
supporting machines going back about 18 years.

For comparison, the latest Linux kernel (6.15) just dropped its support for
486.  It can run on Pentium (1993 — 32 years ago) and later, so our support
duration is only about half of what the Linux kernel supports, but we also
have a smaller team so I think we're doing ok :)
