Tux Paint 0.9.32 & friends are now available for Windows, macOS, Android [1], and Linux [2]. As noted when I posted about the beta release recently, the new version adds: * 1-, 2-, and 3-point perspective drawing tools * Isometric, Dimetric, Trimetric, and Oblique drawing tools * Epitrochoid and Hypotrochoid ("Spirograph") drawing tools * A "complexity" setting that affects the behavior (or availability) of certain Magic tools * Reorganization of the Magic tools (no longer sorted by name) * Font face & size details, when using Text & Label tools Also, numerous bugs have been fixed, some localizations have been improved, and the glossary section of the Magic tool API technical documentation has been reformatted. The Stamps collection takes up much less space, thanks to reducing the quality levels of many sound files that were not benefitting it. Learn all about it! https://tuxpaint.org/latest/tuxpaint-0.9.32-press-release.php Download it! https://tuxpaint.org/download/ And don't forget to tell your friends! :-) [1] Available for Andorid as a direct APK download, which includes both Tux Paint & all the stamps. Coming soon to the F-Droid app repository, and Google Play Store. (Thanks Pere & Terrence!) [2] Available for RHEL and other RPM-based Linux via a repository, and as direct package file downloads. (Thanks Shin-ichi!) Available for MANY Linux distros as a Flatpak via FlatHub. (Thanks Will!) PS - Thanks to Mark and Shin-ichi for the macOS and Windows builds, respectively. PPS - Probably coming soon for Haiku OS, and maybe also openSUSE Linux. -- -bill! Sent from my computer |
