Another follow-up: I tested on my son's Windows 10 laptop, and
when using the scrollwheel (on his physical, external mouse),
the selector (brushes, magic tools were what I tested) does not
scroll properly.
It seems to jump immediately, and get basically stuck at,
the bottom. I have been unable to replicate this on Linux,
however!
I confirmed that the scroll wheel acts as intended when using
the New dialog, and in other apps (e.g. a web browser),
so it doesn't appear to be a driver or hardware malfunction,
but specific to that bit of code in Tux Paint.
I'll investigate. Can others out here with physical mice
(or trackpads that offer scroll functionality) please give it
a try, and see whether it's acting incorrectly for you as well?
Thanks!
