Just spotted that myself. I made a silly mistake -- if the unaltered string fit, it would return it, even with the hints included. Now, it always AT THE VERY LEAST, removes the ~ hints, even if it doesn't need to introduce any spaces for word-wrapping. So I think it's better now. It appears that Vim understands Japanese words ([B] key moves back sometimes one character, but sometimes a set), so I may be able to shove some more "~" in the PO file until things render better for me. Right now it's a little awkward because it will look like this: [ ] XYZXYZXYZXYZXYZXYZ XYZXYZXYZXYZ, XYZXYZXYZXYZXYZ. And with more hints it will at least look less... rugged :) [ ] XYZXYZXYZXYZXYZXYZ XYZXYZXYZXYZ,XYZXYZ XYZXYZ. > I'll check tonight for details. Thanks! And thanks for your patience while I sort it out and reinvent the wheel. Whee :-P -bill! |
