Hrm! The "sysfonts" option is used to allow Tux Paint to search around and try to open other fonts (TTF files) you've installed on your OS. If any of them cause problems, the ability to disable it is provided (or, on some platforms, is the default, I think?) I wonder if you could try re-instating that file, but with "sysfonts=yes" removed (or set to "no"), and see whether it still crashes. This doesn't appear to be a case of a bogus line in the config file causing a crash (which was a bag bug on our part, but I imagine very uncommon to come across! :) ) Thanks, -bill!
