I mentioned that 0.9.23 crashed when starting and it ran after
deleting the config.

This reminded me of a recent exchange with Vincent Putranto, who 
reported that he had installed 0.9.26 and it did not work, and
then 0.9.25, which had worked before, did not start ever again.

After trying various things to find out the recurrence condition, 
it seems that the old version does not start when the button size 
is changed from the standard value in 0.9.26.

I think it is somehow unavoidable and there is nothing we should 
consider regarding this so far.
