A new version of Tux Paint is now available! It adds a color-picker to the color palette, and star shapes to the "Shapes" tool, and has been updated to run on latest versions of macOS (while, hopefully, still being compatible back to Mac OS X 10.7). It's currently available as RPMs for RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and compatible platforms, Apple macOS, and recent versions of Microsoft Windows (XP, 2000, 7, 8, and 10). Also, the SDL2 port of Tux Paint, forked over on Github, has been kept in sync with the official version (which uses SDL 1.2), and based upon that, a new build for Android (with F-Droid software repository installed) has also been produced. It's also been translated to six new languages (bringing the total up to nearly 130!): Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Kabyle, Urdu, and Devanagari and Perso-Arabic variations of Kashmiri and Sindhi. You can read the full press release here (please share it!): http://tuxpaint.org/latest/tuxpaint-0.9.23-press-release-en.php And download Tux Paint (files are hosted on its SourceForge.net project) from here: http://tuxpaint.org/download/ Enjoy! Thanks as always to everyone involved in the project over the last 4 years (since the last official release), and previous 12 years (since the program's inception)!
