Was the first thing I did. After that I let it go back to default but that didn't help either. -------- Original message --------From: Kirsten RK <rot...@gm...> Date: 10/16/17 12:30 AM (GMT-08:00) To: Discussion list for parents and teachers using Tux Paint <tux...@li...> Subject: Re: [Tuxpaint-users] TuxPaint won't save Hi Sharon, There is the little program Configure Tux Paint, which should be installed together with Tux Paint.Have you tried it?With that program, you can point to a directory where Tux Paint should save the files to.And there's a lot more you can configure with it. Good luck,Kirsten 2017-10-14 8:49 GMT+02:00 Pere Pujal i Carabantes <per...@gm...>: On 14 d’octubre de 2017 2.28.59 CEST, Sharon F <ama...@gm...> wrote: Hi! I'm new to the list so, if this topic has been discussed I'm sorry. This is where the website sent me. I know it's a user list so hope I'm in the right place! I installed TuxPaint 0.9.22 and TuxStamps 2009-06-28 on my Windows 10 laptop. Everything was fine until I moved the folder it was in to another location. I forgot it was there actually. After this move I brought up TuxPaint and got an "No such file or directory" message when I tried to save. I got it again when I tried to quit without saving. I went in and changed the data folder to the new location and it still gave me the message. At this point I uninstalled both TuxPaint and TuxStamps. I reinstalled and still had the same error. Uninstalled both again. Found that there was a folder in Programs files (x86) so I deleted that folder and made sure I emptied the trash. At this point I went and did a search for any other files from TuxPaint or TuxStamp and became pretty secure that the laptop was clean of ALL TuxPaint files. I rebooted. Reinstalled. Still got "No such file or directory". If the error is in the registry I'm not going there without clear instructions. I'm stumpted. I can't close the program without forcing a close using task manager or rebooting the system. What I need is to get a copy of TuxPaint and TuxStamps back on my laptop because my granddaughter needs it for school. Help! Let me know if you need any more info. I've attached a dxdiag.txt file in case that helps. Thanks!Sharon Flanagan Hi, I don't know how to solve the problems you describe, but an alternative solution: Install the "portable" version of Tux Paint and stamps into a new place. http://tuxpaint.org/download/windows-zip/ Hope this helps Pere -- Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail.
