BTW, a bug was opened a while back regarding this.
I don't think either Tux Paint 0.9.21 or 0.9.22 work
with El Capitan...?

I'm going to poke around the SDL mailing list to see if anyone
has reported general problems on El Capitan.
Unfortunately, whatever happens, we'll need to find someone
capable of producing an updated version (which we've needed
since 0.9.22 was released, anyway -- right now, the latest
build for OS X is actually a few-months-old beta of 0.9.22!
And the package for it lacks Tux Paint Config, though 0.9.21's
version should be sufficient -- though having to download
two versions is dumb. :-/ )
