Hi Angie, sorry for the delay,

Some questions:
Where did you downloaded tuxpaint, from the official site? tuxpaint.org
or did you get from somewhere else?

Did tuxpaint 0.9.22 worked before in that computer and now it crashes or
it has never run on it? 


Also, tuxpaint should write a couple of files on your computer:
stderr.txt and stdout.txt Could you search them and post here, please?

Other things you could test to see it they help (configurable in
tuxpaint-config):
start tuxpaint with a blank image
disable sound
disable label tool
swap fullscreen<->windowed
