I appreciate the reply about where to find pictures, but it didn't tell me anything different than the other answers I had found on the website. The answer addressed where to find pictures on lots of other operating systems, but I'm looking specifically for the path to find pictures on a machine running Windows 7. Thank you! -----Original Message----- From: tux...@li... [mailto:tux...@li...] Sent: Tuesday, February 19, 2013 2:17 PM To: tux...@li... Is there anything I could do to help? If so, send me an email har...@gm... I've been using Apple's since the MacPlus, and am pretty computer literate, but have little to no programming knowledge. I did manage to compile the Windows version of Tuxpaint, but had johnnypops instructions to guide me. As is the case in many schools, this school has an up to date lab, but they keep older computers until they no longer work in the classrooms. So the updated Tuxpaint would be great for their lab. For the older computers, I'll need to find another solution. And by the way, if anyone else is in a similar situation, and would like to try the compiled pre-release version for Windows, send me an email. Unless you asked Tux Paint to save into a specific location (using the 'savedir' option), Tux Paint saves into a standard location on your local drive: Windows Vista In the user's "AppData" folder: e.g., C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\TuxPaint\saved Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP In the user's "Application Data" folder: e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data \TuxPaint\saved Mac OS X In the user's "Application Support" folder: e.g., /Users/Username/Library/Applicaton Support/TuxPaint/saved/ Linux / Unix In the user's $HOME directory, under a ".tuxpaint" subfolder: e.g., /home/username/.tuxpaint/saved/ Hope this helps Pere ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Fri, 15 Feb 2013 21:06:47 -0800 From: Bill Kendrick <nb...@so...> Subject: [Tuxpaint-users] "Tux Paint HD" for iPad To: Tux Paint Users <tux...@li...> Message-ID: <201...@so...> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii I recently discovered Tux Paint was ported to Apple iOS and released for the iPad! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tuxpaint-hd/id597240164?mt=8] It's available for free.
