I THINK the docs have been updated since the last version to cover this. I've also updated Tux Paint Config to have two pulldowns... one for width, one for height, and they both have the same list of sizes, so you can easily do portrait vs. landscape. In any case, the canvas size should be: (window width - 192) x (window height - 128) The buttons are 48x48, and there are two columns of them on each side, so the canvas starts 96px in from the left, and ends 96px from the right.
