As indicated in the Chinese fonts discussion, I really have no need for these subset fonts in my Debian package, where a good full font alternative exists. What is the status of the TTF bug (URLs please?) that our customized version works around? Could it be fixed in the latest versions of TTF packages in Debian/sid? I could test this if I know what problems to look for. I'd really rather not include *any* fonts in the tuxpaint-data package in Debian, so if I could go back to using the full ttf-sazanami-gothic package, that would be great. And if we're not ready to do that today, I'd at least like to track the bug so I can eventually switch to using a non-customized font when it is fixed.
