You won't be getting tolerable results without a very complex GUI, a scripting language, or making the user do an extremely insane amount of work redrawing things. I'd start with a polygon-based animation system at age 10, or POV-Ray at age 12. Tux Paint may be too complex already, both in the GUI and in the code. |
