It shouldn't be so complicated. This is better: Draw something. Save it like normal. It's a stamp! The alpha channel should be 100% automatic, using the predominant edge color as a color key. Sizing should be 100% automatic, using the smallest rectangle that will hold the image. If you delete the image, it disappears as a stamp. If you edit the image, the stamp changes too. Maybe there could be a checkbox to let the user exclude some drawings from becoming stamps, but this may be needless complexity. It's OK to make all saved images become stamps. It would be reasonable to filter out images that appear to be unsuitable, such as lacking an obvious color key or being based on a starter image. |
