Have we ran pngcrush on > the collection of PNGs recently? ;) I really don't get with this Windows idea of building an installer when a plain old *.zip file would do, especially for a simple collection of data files. It's not as if data files require registry keys to associate stuff with them. The www.sysinternals.com people manage to do whole programs without big and complicated installers. If anybody should know the best way to do things, it's probably them. I think every Windows system can extract a *.zip file now. The feature was added to the OS, and prior to that everyone was installing WinZip. |
