However, that wasn't the problem. It seems Tux Paint doesn't fully recognize the text in a .txt file if it doesn't end with an End-of-Line character. I'll see if I can fix the forthcoming version so that it's more forgiving, but in the meantime, I think all you'll need to do is go in and hit [Enter] at the end of the line.
