You didn't say what platform you're trying to use Tux Paint on, but since you mentioned the ".tuxpaintrc" file, it sounds like you're on Linux or some kind of Unix. (If not, let us know!) In any case, the line that should go in your configuration file (be it ".tuxpaintrc" in your home directory on Linux, or "tuxpaint.cfg" in C:\Program Files\TuxPaint on Windows, or...) should look something like: lang=spanish You can run Tux Paint from the command line, with "--lang help" arguments, to get a list of supported languages. Or just check Tux Paint's "Options" documentation (which should have come with Tux Paint, but is also available online at: http://www.tuxpaint.org/docs/html/OPTIONS.html ) That document also talks about where Tux Paint's configuration files go. And finally, two other things: (1) Tux Paint _should_ honor your desktop's locale preference, if supported, and (2) you can also use the "Tux Paint Config." tool (run "tuxpaint-config" on Linux; on Windows, go to the Tux Paint entry in your Start menu and select "Configure Tux Paint", etc.) to generate a configuration file for Tux Paint. It has a pull-down menu for language selection. Good luck! -- -bill! "Tux Paint" - free children's drawing software for Windows / Mac OS X / Linux! Download it today! http://www.tuxpaint.org/ |
