Hi Simona,

can you run 'Configure Tux Paint', select the 'Languages' tab, and turn
off 'Load System Fonts' (top-right), and make sure it is off for both
'Current User' and 'All Users' (bottom-left)?

Let us know if it is already off.

Which language are you using?
