seems to be my bad weekend for Tux...
   
  Installed the upgrade at home on XP os over old installation... figured it might use old
   
  C:/Documents and Settings/HP_Administrator/My Documents/My Pictures/My Art/Tuxpaint/saved/
   
  for saving work or in any case could easily be found... 
   
  made 3 pics
   
  cant find em anywhere
   
  They were on tux for a while  -heh heh heh-- but I demolished that!  Saved Directory indicated the same ol directory:
   
  C:/Documents and Settings/HP_Administrator/My Documents/My Pictures/My Art/Tuxpaint/saved/
   
  used Alternate to 'reinforce' and obviously (vbg) that was NOT the thing to do.
   
  found my OLD pics lost the NEW ONES
   
   
  search indicates I have only the SINGLE name validating file that verified THAT the "2008112..." (todays date) convention remained in place... clearly tux didn't save those files it saved on THIS computer. vbg. THE FILES ARE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE. If you see em send em home.
   
  everything works fine now that I've officially set the Alt destination
   
  but fwiw this block was originally clipped outta Tux: 
    "C:/Documents and Settings/HP_Administrator/My Documents/My Pictures/My Art/Tuxpaint/saved/"
  No biggie. I'm on to new Pics for the son in law.
