Better yet, we should figure out how to make it work w/o needing admin
privileges! :)

I'll make sure Martin F., who ports Tux Paint to OS X for us, sees this
thread.  Thanks, and glad you figured out a work-around!  I'll post it on
the "Known Issues" page, and send a note to some OS X users who recently
reported problems, in case your info helps them.
