I tried to compile tsocks 1.8beta5 on darwin.

configure failed:

checking for sys/poll.h... no
configure: error: sys/poll.h not found

darwin has no poll.h at all.

Want to update:

This failure happens on Darwin 6.8 (Mac OSX 10.2.x alias
Jaguar).

On MacOSX 10.3.x alias Panther, I get a different failure:

checking location of libc.so... configure: error: not found!

I think you should install developper tools. I have poll.h here...

I have the developper tools installed.

It was Jaguar that had no poll.h.

On Panther I get this error:
checking location of libc.so... configure: error: not found!

Can you be more accurate: is it when doing "configure" or "make" or
another step ?

I cannot find where it is testing for libc.so location...
Also, you can check my other bug reports, I found some other errors and
resolved some of them.
