I've just gone a bit mad updating Mantis, take a look. Everything is open for discussion, nothing is written in stone.

 

The roadmap shows all issues with "target version" in the future. There are also a number of issues with no set target version.

 

If you feel you are working on one of these issues great, if you don't "find yourself" consider creating a new issue and assign yourself.
