Hi James,

Welcome.  To start, I'd recommend reading some of the recent archived messages and the forum area, there have been a number of ideas thrown out within the past month or so.

One "hot" area to me, that I've implemented but it probably won't make it as-is into the official version was the idea of having task "types" so certain kinds of reports were easier to write.  The best idea so far seems to be to have the idea of tasks being able to be part of multiple "types" kinda like users can be part of multiple groups in linux.  I'm not sure how to go about implementing that so that it's relatively efficient...

Was speaking to a friend earlier today, and he mentioned TimeSheet NG to me, I had been thinking of/planning a similar project, but thought I’d take a look, and I must say you guys have done a fab job with this! Will be using this to keep track of my projects now, very useful indeed!
 
I would also be quite interested in helping out with things if you need it; I had a read of the ‘Get Involved’ page, and the Wiki, wondering what sort of ideas people had had regarding its expansion and development? I’d be more than willing to help out and contribute.
