Hi There,

Hope someone can help here.

I have done a clean installation of 1.5.3 using the web installer.

The problems start when I proceed to Step three.
I enter a ID and create a password, but then I get this error :-

Installation Error

There has been an error that couldn't be recovered from

Error Message

Could not select the database.
Database said: No database selected

Any ideas?

Is it repeatable, or was it a one-off?
What versions (PHP, MySQL) are you using?

I am having the same issue, Please help
PHP Version = 5.3.3
mysql = 5.1.73
