Normally this should work with the T610. At least someone told me it works.
Did you enter the device in the config dialog?
For Bluetooth this would be something like /dev/rfcomm0 or /dev/rfcomm1,
for IrDA /dev/ircomm0 and for serial cable /dev/ttyS0. Check this!
If you're using Bluetooth you've to bind a so called channel to the device file
first. Look At the mailinglist archives to find out how to do that.
I described it there in some early messages.

Many people are requesting this, but I would like to get all the other things
work properly first.
Anyway: Sooner or later I'll add this feature ;)
