Hi, I just managed to connect T300 by using the USB cable DCU-10 (original Sony cable). I was able to use tsemgr to download SMS's, send SMS and download the addressbook. I found information about how to use the USB cable when browsing the list archives of the Linux P800 project: http://mobile.linux.pt/digest/ezmlm.cgi?mss:129:200303:bdojiajncaneagbppjgp Here is what I did: 1. You need to recompile the kernel or create modules so that you have included the usb-serial and the Profilic PL2303 usb-serial driver. Also I think that you need a new kernel (I use 2.6.0-test2). 2. After the new kernel (or modules) is in place, connect the usb cable to your usb port. Then use dmesg to see that the device is detected and that the correct driver is associated (PL-2303). It also says what device it uses (f.ex. ttyUSB0). 3. Start tsemgr, go to config and enter the device to use (f.ex. /dev/ttyUSB0). You're ready! There is also another USB cable where you can charge the batteries of the phone at the same time: http://alor.antifork.org/hardware-linux/sonyericsson-T68i/ I hope someone else finds this information useful. -- Per Thomas Jahr |
