Wow, in several years I was unsubscribed. Also, I tried writing Wayne and the Debian maintainer, as well as posting in news.software.readers. Certainly, at least since switching from FC9 to Debian Testing, I can once again enjoy trn, but now when I save articles to a file, the file will not increase past 2147483647 This doesn't happen in freebsd, just seemingly on my Debian 2.6.32 In googling that number, says something about max int and fat32. Is their some easy way I can remove this barrior? Not sure, but it may write over the beginning at that point? Sure it would be better if I could send the content directly to uudeview but instead at an article thread, I type a:s dance.msg They append or save fine until that file size, but in freebsd I have actually saved 35GB to a single file. I tried looking for a source, but just found regular packages. When I run tar xf on a package, seems to save in root. I think it would be much less confusing if it created a /trn4.0-test77 Thanks so much in advance if any1 can please solve this mystery. Hart |
