If you want to build stuff for Trinux, I would reccomend using the slackware-7.1 virtual machine available at http://devel.trinux.org/tde-22sep02.tgz (it is about 170mb, though) It has all the source libaries for SSL, pcap, Libnet, etc. and it is what I use to build packages (I assuming I built packages anymore). There is a README in the tarball. Trinux was first released in April 1998. Versions up through 0.51 were based on Debian 1.31 binaries linked against libc5. Version 0.6x was built using RedHat Linux 5.2. So you might be able to do the compiling on a Slackware distro with the normal gcc. I hope I helped you a little bit. Because I don't think you would get more replies.
