Note that these permissions are set in the postremove script of the Solaris package, so an upgrade from a previous version of tpkg to 2.2.4 will still leave /etc/profile with the wrong permissions because they'll be set by the postremove in that old version.  Removing and reinstalling 2.2.4, or on the next upgrade beyond 2.2.4, or a manual repair will get the permissions set properly right now.
