    Has everyone read today's newspaper article in Dallas Morning News
Southwest section?  Lake Ridge Focusing on Retail.  If you haven't read
it please do!  and if you don't want to live on Cooper Street you better
get involved now.  Attend the meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. at the
community center tomorrow.
    What has not been put out for public knowledge is the street
improvement that they passed a bond for in Jan of 98, was for 4 lane
with a median.  That's not what they are doing.  It is 6 lanes with a
median and bike path.  It will bottle neck into 4 lane with a median at
the fire station.  The only way that size road would be needed is if
they are planning on doing some major retail in this area.
     Do you really want to sit back and wait to see what happens or do
you want to get involved and try to stop it before it starts?  This is
the time to get involved again!
    I have spent considerable time this last week researching the
information that was given to the public prior to the bond election, in
the newspapers and mailings by the city to get the bond passed.  The
information given does not match what they are doing.
    I hope all of you are as concerned as I am!
