[TiLP-devel] SVN server move

Hi,

I just dumped the SVN repos; tilp takes 283 MB, tiemu takes 202 MB.

The new server should be racked next Friday and will go live a few
days later, the time for me to set everything up.

[TiLP-devel] SVN planned downtime this week

Hi,

The SVN server will be down for up to an hour at the end of the week
while I'll be dumping the repositories.

The repositories will then be reloaded on the new server, before it
goes to the datacenter (no date yet).

Once the server will be up and running, I'll transfer the tilp.info
domain to a new nameserver under my direct control. This will be the
last step before moving the TiLP and TiEmu repositories to
svn.tilp.info.

You will still be able to commit to the current repositories after
this week-end; the changes will be preserved (I'll do an incremental
dump & reload later). It's easier to transfer the biggest part of the
repositories now, as I have physical access to both machines. A dump
of the TiLP repository takes about 200 MB; the TiEmu repository is
quite larger :)

More on the SVN move later, with instructions on how to switch to the
new server without checking out the whole trees again.

No, I didn't. I don't use vfat any longer (since SVN).

1/ this is not a security issue
2/ you should not unpack untrusted archives as root
3/ you should never build a software as root; learn to use sudo or su
   for the make install stage
4/ /usr/src is for the kernel sources

5/ Romain, I bet you generated your tarball on a vfat partition ?

in the directories weren't world-writable).  If
untarring in directories only intended to be
root-writable, such as /usr/src, this is rather
insecure.  I have submitted this as bug #1066768 in
the SourceForge bug tracker.

Yeah, you're right ! It was a threading issue with LCD on/off. I have
found and fixed the bug.

A Linux release should appear soon.

BTW, it seems TiEmu is interesting the TiGCC team. Great :-))

So I started to test the tiemu 1.80.041102. the map files doesn't seem 
to miss anymore and the .tiemu directory is correctly created. But I 
still have the following bugs:

    * All the mouse operations seem to fail(Clic on Calc buttons and
      right clic menu)

    * File transfers(with F10) fail: Making a exception on the TI.

    * Sometime it freeze when starting emulation:

This release had a PC keyboard problem. Don't forget those releases are a=
t
an alpha stage ;-)

Hi there,
I'm not sure if this is the right address for a question about tiemu - just 
trying:
I installed tiemu tarball 1.80-04111 and could fire it up, but after the ROM 
is loaded, I can't do any mouse function on the TIs picture - neither left 
nor right mouse button shows any reaction. I can operate the TI only via the 
PC-keyboard.
Any idea what's going wrong?
Appreciate any hint.

PS.
Is there a difference between a TI92 and a TI92+ map? Since the tarball did 
not contain a map, I found a TI92 map on tiemu CVS - but I have a TI92+ ROM.
