Summary: compiling on suse, ok but doesn't run

Initial Comment:
I used

./configure
make
make install

to install:

libticables
libticonv
libtifiles
libticalcs
tilp2

all from the latest available (stable) verion

no errors was reported in each phase of the installation, but when I run tilp on the shell this is the result:

tilp: error while loading shared libraries: libticalcs2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but libticalcs2 was found from ./configure that returned me the OK to procede with make and make install,

I found on google that at least another one user of Suse (openSuse 10.1) had the same error, I had this error on openSuse10.2

P.S. rpm packages have fatal effects on my machine

Which version of libraries? Where do you download those archives? Did you
try & download latest releases?
