Initial Comment:
it may be my computer
in the communication settings window i have it se to silver link, port #1, TI83+, checked "auto-detect"
i get the error hat reads:

Msg: No I/O resource available !
Cause: several ways. Check for:
- PortTalk device driver (parallel/serial cable under Win NT4/2000/XP)
- TiglUsb device driver (SilverLink).
what is the problem?

Try and install TiLP again.
You can go to C:\Program Files\TiLP and delete tilp.ini, too.
