Yes, you're right. I've done the same thing recently but I didn't commit
the change to the BSD port. I was fed up to this msg under Win32.

The problem appears when you change the cable after changing the port.
TiLP v6.72 systematticaly set port to the first port when you change
cable. Thus, value is always valid.
