See attached .pdf file for bug report. I hope this helps in some way. TI is not guaranteeing a solution for the troubled TI Connect X program that I have so I have tried all others and they failed, too.

Bug report for TiLP on OS X 10.6.7

I put error reports in the .pdf file that were generated by my Mac. I have OS X 10.6.7 and am using TiLP v6.67 (0.7.0) - $Rev: 340 $ and TiLP is not working. It looks like it is a professionally designed product with the ability to get away from the corporate projects. I have VirtualBox running Windows XP and TiLP has been run on that, too, and it is not working. I tried a real Dell PC with XP and it does not work. The cable I am using is the silver mac usb cable that the vendor said is the correct cable. The package it came in said it was the correct cable. I used to run TI Graphlink with the black cable on Windows 95 and that worked. I don't have access to any Windows 95 machines. VirtualBox runs everything but TiLP and the com ports work great for everything else, but I want to run this TiLP on my Mac. All other programs by TI on my various machines do not work, I contacted TI about it and they said that they could not guarantee a solution. TiLP GUI will run, but there is no success with some of the buttons. I describe this with the computer generated reports in the .pdf files. The other TI programs will do a screen dump of what is on my calculator screen. If I could just get TiLP to work, I know that things will be okay. Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, TILP 6.x has been superseded by the improved TILP II 1.x in 2006 :)

There's a MacPorts port for the latest TILP II 1.14 release. For compiling from the SVN repository (which has more features and fewer bugs), use the same script as for Linux: http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/linux.html . For such a compilation to succeed, you'll have to compile dozens of other ports.

Hope that this helps, and don't hesitate to report back ;)
    Lionel.
