MultiRepos: Added an option `[trac] repository_sync_per_request` to specify the repositories that should be synchronized on every page request. The default is to synchronize the default repository, for backward compatibility.

MultiRepos: remove intra-branch compatibility code.

I guess at this point, every person following MultiRepos closely will have upgraded.
Anyway, that compatibility code was not working for PostgreSQL backends, as shown in #8525.
