I guess we have to use Python 3 to use Phoenix? First try with Python 3.6.1 and Phoenix 4.0.0b2 gives: Traceback (most recent call last): File "c:\Users\roger.RLDATA\workspace\Timeline\main\source\timeline.py", line 50, in <module> from timelinelib.config.paths import LOCALE_DIR File "c:\Users\roger.RLDATA\workspace\Timeline\main\source\timelinelib\config\paths.py", line 23, in <module> _ROOT = _ROOT.decode("utf-8") AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'decode' So I guess there are some work to do! /Roger Från: Rickard Lindberg [mailto:ri...@gm...] Skickat: den 14 januari 2018 09:18 Till: Unk Anon Kopia: the...@li... How did you end up fixing this? Thanks Hi, It seems to have been fixed here: https://sourceforge.net/p/thetimelineproj/main/ci/e2eabd82d21c03147c76c6544ffd9568b5f17dd5 Would it be possible to integrate the Phoenix code in the Timeline code base? Or are there too many incompatibilities? /Rickard |
